    • Steve Feketa Is typical....have us pay more instead of fixing the structural problem of the program. I would rather give more towards medicare and put more into a 401k than give it to social security.
    • Kandee Sabo "Forcing a woman to terminate a pregnancy she wants is wrong, and so is forcing her to continue a pregnancy that she does not want, concludes a new Guttmacher Institute policy analysis. Each case violates women's basic human rights: the right to decide freely whether and when to bear a child and the right to have that decision respected by the government."
  7. I'll be taking part in St. John's Univeristy's Candidate Night tonight at 7:00 PM. St. John's University, Bent Hall, Room 101 C, Queens, NY

  2. While the Yankees are still in extra innings, what did everyone think of the debate tonight?
  3. Is everyone ready for the Vice Presidential debate?
  4. Meanwhile, my opponent walks across the state with phony, so-called ‘jobs’ bills that are nothing more than spending a few more taxpayer dollars and not even getting any more certain jobs.
  5. Instead of touting phony jobs bills and falsely giving New Yorkers hope for new jobs, as they lose their current ones, Sen. Gillibrand should explain to New York why she refuses to support a technology that has put other states to work, and could put New Yorkers to work as well
  6. I was on "Fox and Friends" this morning to talk more about this phony "War on Women."
  7. "She joined the staff of the student newspaper and quickly made a name for herself covering the pivotal 1980 New Hampshire presidential primary. Her religious views began to take shape there also after she met a group of Catholic students who were engaged in exploring their faith."
  8. Now that the debate's over, how does everyone think Governor Romney did?
  9. What do you expect to hear from Pres. Obama and Gov. Romney tonight?
  10. Clearly, the Kennedy-Gillibrand liberal establishment doesn’t care about the future of upstate New York but I believe Governor Cuomo does, that’s why I’m urging him to move forward with hydrofracking now. We need the jobs and the energy, and the growth of industry and manufacturing now -- not next month, not next year, not next decade.
  11. These are the people who have created this big government that is really putting such a drag on our economy and causing our continued high unemployment — and it’s that terrible record that my opponent and the Democrats want to distract attention from.

Earlier in 2012

  1. I jumped into this race because I believe, in 2012, everything is on the line for America. Our free-market economy is on the line. Capitalism is on the line. The dignity of work and the dignity of human life are on the line. Our security; our energy independence; so much is at stake in this election...
  2. It’s sad that federal defense cuts have resulted in 570 hard working employees of Sikorsky being laid off. What's insulting is Sen. Gillibrand’s delusional new ad highlighting a bogus jobs bill, while New York’s manufacturers are struggling.
  3. About to be introduced by Suffolk County Treasurer Angie Carpenter
Photo: About to be introduced by Suffolk County Treasurer Angie Carpenter
  4. "On September 11, 2001 America was attacked, not for what we do wrong - but for what we do right. We were attacked by those who despise the freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution; freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom to assemble, and the freedom to petition our government. Eleven years later, young American men and women are fighting and dying to protect those freedoms around the world. Today, as we remember the heroes lost on September 11, 2001, let us pause to reflect on those freedoms and honor those who have died in its name and those who protect them today."
  5. I'll be on "Fox & Friends" on Fox News tomorrow morning at 6:15 AM to discuss the Democrats "War on Women."
  6. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Plattsburgh this TOMORROW night! For details/RSVP email unytea@yahoo.com

  7. So what did everybody think of the first night of the DNC Convention?
  8. When you hear the Democrats and their phony "War on Women" this week, keep this in mind...

  10. I loved Marco Rubio's comment that the big government policies are

  17. I'll be talking with Frank Acomb on “Frankly Speaking” this morning at 7:45 on News/Talk 1230 & 1450 WENY.
  18. The National Debt clock...almost at $16 TRILLION!
Photo: The National Debt clock...almost at $16 TRILLION!
  19. All rape is real rape and Republicans don't want people 'back in chains.' The real issue is jobs and New York's private sector isn't creating them. Congressman Akin and Vice President Biden have done a disservice to out of work struggling Americans by distracting from a serious discussion on jobs and the economy.
