This area of The Digital Learning Center features a series of online digital training courses. At the end of each course we offer a competency exam to prove your mastery of the subject. You can complete the exam and submit it electronically for scoring. We will immediately provide your results -- and for every wrong answer a link back to that topic's page for a review. Digital Imaging Fundamentals
This course provides a fundamental understanding of how film images are captured, processed, stored and output digitally. Each module is followed by a brief review and also by a competency exam for that module.

Digital Color Theory
This course includes basic color theory and describes how color is represented and reproduced digitally.

Desktop Imaging Systems & Issues
This course provides a fundamental understanding of the systems issues relating to image processing, storage and transmission. It also explores the methods used for encoding images and provides guidelines for working with Photo CD images.

Introduction to Digital Imaging
This course will help you understand digital imaging, by building upon your knowledge of traditional photography.
